We offer 2, 3 or 5 day a week options from 8:45AM – 12:45PM.

We have two Montessori teachers guiding 7 to 13 children. Our Montessori classroom sits on the sunny, spacious first floor of a home in Alexandria (22315). We are licensed by the State of Virginia.

We all know Early Childhood is an important time in the life of the child; it is an important time in the lives of parents, too! At Montesshare, we work to honor and ease that time for both you and your child. We are building a community of families who value not only the structure and freedom inherent in Montessori education, but the connection, as well.

Montesshare was birthed from Joy Wilder’s desire for an affordable, Montessori, Spanish bilingual education for her own four children. She draws on her experience co-founding TOTH Montessori (Best of D.C. Preschools three years and counting!), her deep desire to help families thrive and a commitment to the science of child development and education in order to create this beautiful Montessori space. She loves equipping parents to parent for more moments of appreciation and peace with their child!

As a state licensed, in-home program, you and your child will have a sense of security and confidence from the moment you enter our sunny, first floor, neighborhood location. At Montesshare, we understand the anxiety of separation as we understand the relationship between emotion and learning. We are committed to sharing the challenges and successes of this special phase in life, from our beautiful homey environment and intimate ratios to our flexible schedules and affordable rates, we make it easy to share this part of your family’s journey!

Trinity School at Meadow View

Trinity School at Meadow View

Trinity School at Meadow View is a classically based Christian school offering a rigorous humanities curriculum, advanced STEM classes and performance based arts. All students follow one, balanced curriculum that enables them to develop the intellectual habits they need for a lifetime of discovering truth, practicing goodness and creating beauty. Our community of learners is coed, but our classes are single sex, with no more than 20 students per classroom. This maximizes the ability of the individual student to learn well and to develop good friendships. Ours is also an ecumenical Christian culture marked by daily prayer and a moral order deeply rooted in Scripture and Christian tradition. Our ecumenism is a sign of Christian unity and one vital source of our common mission to serve God and our neighbors.

Top Hat Montessori

Top Hat Montessori

Top Hat Montessori is a school for the 21st Century, providing all day, all year Montessori programs for the children of today’s working families. With a strong commitment to traditional Montessori education, our programs and pricing meet the needs of families with children too young for Elementary school, so you can go to work without worry.

Maria Montessori was a physician in Italy in the early 1900’s. The government was struggling with children being left at home during the day while their parents worked. Dr. Montessori had worked successfully with special needs children, so they asked her to establish a program to care for the children. Through careful observation and experimentation, Dr. Montessori learned what materials and activities engaged the children’s interest, appealing to their instinctive need to learn. Her goals were to meet their developmental needs, and to teach them practical skills, academic fundamentals, respect for others, and care of self and the environment.
