    Hello School Hub Nation,

I am looking for a long-term summer activity for my 8 year old boy who is not that interested in running around in the heat all day. He likes PE, don’t get me wrong, but he wants to learn and “work” (his words).

Does anyone have any recommendations? I’ve found a few one-week, half-day, or once a week options all summer, but nothing day-to-day.

Again, I’d love to hear any recommendations anyone has.

What area are you looking into and are you okay with your boy taking a bus?

My nephew enrolled in mad science camp and is very excited, but I don’t know all the details. Here’s the link: http://dc.madscience.org/campexperience.aspx

    Good luck!

LEGO robotics is popular. I know they do it at several locations around DC and Moco.

Coding camps, computer camp, app creation camp.

I haven’t checked it out, but ActivityRocket.com has a lot of resources to try.
